1968 Black Chevy Corvette, 327engine,with 4 speeed Transmission, T-tops. Standard cloth interior. Brand new BF Goodrich, raised white letter Tires. New Clutch assembly, new u-joints in drive shaft, replaced master cylinder, new heater core. We have owned the car about 3 years, when we bought it the motor had been rebuilt. I do not think it is a numbers matching car. Heads were supllied with the car claiming to be the original heads, but I can not confirm or deny this is true. Original color of the car was gold, the seller we bought it from had it re-painted black. Car is in good condition but needs TLC. The car runs and drives good. Teak wood steering wheel and the 4 post luggage rack. I was told this was rare. Dash and steering wheel in good shape. Headlight doors and windshield wiper doors all work. Body has a few stress cracks, no major damage, chrome is in good shape. Underside is good. We drove it a handful of times in summer. Make a great project/restoration car. Speedometer shows 45000.00 (was working when we purchased but stopped a short time after) Not working now. Fuel gauge is not working never did since we bought it (think it is just a ground). Interior is complete, sun faded cloth (no rips) Center Console needs to be replaced. Doors appear to have been replaced with 1969 doors. 45,000 miles. May 2, 2008. |
